Three separate Angular platforms, each hardcoded to English, rebuilt as one Turborepo monorepo — three typed Next.js platforms sharing one design system and one admin tool, with localization built in: AI spins up a translation of a whole site in minutes.

The situation

Three Angular apps, hardcoded to English

The ministry ran three separate Angular platforms — each its own codebase, each hardcoded to English. Every fix shipped three times, the experiences drifted apart, and translating any of it meant rebuilding pages by hand.

What I built

One monorepo, three typed platforms

The three apps became one Turborepo monorepo: three typed Next.js platforms sharing a type system and design language, run from a single admin tool — with localization built into the foundation instead of bolted on.

The key feature

A new language in minutes

Every string lives in a localization layer, so AI can spin up a complete translation of a whole platform in minutes — reviewed, then published. Reaching a new language community stopped being a rebuild.

The back-office

Three platforms, one admin tool

Every platform, course and instructor lives in a single admin. Switch platforms, drill straight into courses, manage who’s assigned where — and spin up a new language for any of them without touching code.

The learner experience

Every lesson, at the learner’s own pace

Learners move through multilingual, question-and-answer lessons at their own pace — a lesson grid, a live progress pill, a study streak, and one tap to continue where they left off.

Each brand keeps its own identity while sharing the same underlying study engine.

Three platforms didn’t need three teams — they needed one codebase that speaks every language. A new translation is minutes of AI and a review, not months of rebuild.
